She believes handbells are at an important cusp at this point in time and so — as they begin to broaden their influence beyond churches and schools and into concert halls and academia — handbell performers and composers have an amazing opportunity to really make a difference for the future of this wonderful instrument.

As part of this effort, Michèle is dedicated to performing and recording advanced classical art music, as well as commissioning new art music for solo handbells with a variety of other instruments.
